Your Personal Data
From the moment you contact Courses4you we begin to collect data on you. We do this to enable us to provide you with the best possible learning experience with us. We will create and maintain an account on your behalf, this account will note things such as your participation on courses, your assessments and communications with either Student Services or your Tutor.
How we use your Data
The data we collect and maintain on you is used to deliver our services appropriately, support you through your learning journey and to meet any legal requirements that we may need to fulfil (for example claiming certificates from Awarding Bodies).
In the interest of keeping your learning experience as efficient as possible with Courses4you, from time to time we may contact you to keep you informed of other qualifications or services that we offer which may be of use to you. We will also request feedback from yourself once you have completed your studies to help us improve other students’ learning experiences.
We are committed to protecting your data as if it were our own and only ever share your data or information as and when you authorise us to do so.
Once a 4-year period has passed after the completion of your course, your work, information, and account are all deleted from our systems. In the event of you being in debt to the College, we will hold your account information for 10 years, but your work submissions and other information will be deleted in line with the 4-year period previously mentioned.
Who do we Share your Data with?
At times it’s necessary to share your personal data with external services and providers (such as printers or Awarding Bodies). If this is necessary, only the required information is shared and is done so under strict confidentiality obligations.
